What to pay
Holding deposit- to apply for a property, we require a holding deposit of 1 week's rent. This will reserve the property while we conduct the necessary referencing and identity checks (which can take up to 15 days).
Dilapidation Deposit - 5 weeks' rent is to be paid upon acceptance and is held in a government approved deposit scheme (TDS - Tenancy Deposit Scheme). This is returned at the end of the tenancy, less deductions (as outlined in the tenancy agreement).
First Month’s Rent - to be paid upon key collection.
- Payment should be by Bank Transfer. We can accept payment in cash, for which there is a 2% handling fee.
- If you withdraw your application or if the application is unsuccessful due to reference reasons you will forfeit the holding deposit.
- If you proceed with your tenancy agreement, the holding deposit is added to the dilapidation deposit.
- Returned cheques, dishonoured Standing Order payments and all rental payments in cash will incur a handling fee of £25.00 + VAT per item.
- Late payment will be charged £25.00 + VAT each time.
- Costs incurred due to lost keys will be charged at £50 per call out.
